Over the summer the focus has been on fun and freedom, but now that children across London have gone back to school, it’s time to get routine and regime back on the agenda. This includes reviewing your family’s oral healthcare routine and making sure their dental check ups are up to date. Now is the perfect time to find a new pediatric dentist to assess your child’s dental health as they get back into the routine of early mornings, early bedtimes and after school activities.
Regular Dentist or Pediatric Dentist in London?
If you are looking for a new dental practice for your child, should you take them to your own practice, a regular dental practice that serves people of all ages, or a pediatric dentist that specialises in check ups and treatments for kids? Well the answer is that all three are great options. If you like your own practice then you’ll feel comfortable taking your child there, but if you want to go the extra mile and find a kids dental specialist that can make your child feel at ease whilst having their teeth checked, then choosing a pediatric dentist is often the best option.
A pediatric dentist specialises in looking after children’s teeth and will offer a fun and stress-free environment that helps to make them feel relaxed about their appointment.

Pediatric Dental Treatments Available
As kids dental specialists we take a preventative approach to dentistry, helping children to avoid costly and painful dental treatment in the future by sharing our advice on healthy eating and brushing techniques as well as applying fluoride varnish to protect the surfaces of young teeth from cavities. In addition to preventative dentistry we also offer:
⦁ White fillings
⦁ Tooth coloured crowns
⦁ Emergency dental treatment – for teeth that have been chipped, cracked, broken or knocked out
⦁ Early teen orthodontics
We can also administer inhalation sedation (also known as laughing gas) to ease any anxiety children may be feeling at an appointment as well as using a pain free alternative to dental injections.
